I waited around 30–45 minutes for a table, and my food took about 30 minutes to arrive. I think the service was a bit slow, possibly because it was busy and the place is still new , which I totally understand. The Mala wasn’t too strong, but we could add our own dipping sauces and condiments for free (which you don’t usually get at other places). They also offered complimentary crackers, fruit, and lollipops. I might come back again.

It's such a great hot pot restaurant that finally opened at the South part of Adelaide. The ingredients selections are pretty good. The soup based is quite nice. They have great selection for the condiments. Free fruits and prawn crackers. Definitely will come back again.

They offer free rice, lemon water, prawn crackers, and fruit, plus a wide variety of condiments to choose from. The food comes out fairly quickly, the service is good, and although the flavors are on the stronger side, everything tastes really delicious.

Málà meaning a combination of “numbing" (麻) and "spicy (piquant)" (辣), referring to the feeling of numbing after eating. The numbness is caused by its characteristic Szechuan pepper used in the broth. Mala Town, this is just next level!!! The Malatang hot pot is a sensation, it’s just above the rest, the flavours are authentic and bold, not too oily, perfection! The options available are endless, wide variety of fresh ingredients to choose from, the usual greens, fresh marinated meats, frozen meats but also stock some unique items like tripe, duck gizzards, pork liver, abalone, pea shoots! This is what I’m talking about, the real good stuff. Then there’s 3 soup options - non spicy, malatang & laksa & dry mix at $4.20/100g with NO minimum weight like other hot pot restaurants. It is very reasonable for tasty deliciousness hot pot! The stir fry also $4.50/100g (干锅) which is what I opted for on this occasion. Also available complimentary self serve condiments sauces, prawn crackers, steamed rice and dessert fruits. If you’re not in the mood for Mala hot pot, the menu also offers sides such as dumplings, crispy chicken strips, scallion oil noodles and pork buns to menu a few. Free water station and refills available. The drinks selection is ample, offering a great variety of alcohol bottled drinks, Asian beer, standard soft drinks and other non alcoholic beverages. The staff are friendly, accommodating and prompt service. I told them I cannot handle too spicy stir-fry they offer non spicy version too. Absolutely recommend this hot pot eatery, definitely a new favorite. Ample parking at rear. *improvements for the restroom area is much needed**

It's not just another malatang spot. They have a wide variety of ingredients to choose from, the usual suspects and some unique items like pork liver, abalone, pea shoots. There's 3 soup options - non spicy, malatang & laksa & dry mix - $4.20/100g And $4.50/100g for stir-fry (干锅) And you can help yourself to the fruits, sauces, prawn crackers & rice. They also have some food items like crispy chicken strips, scallion oil noodles, etc for people who are not into malatang / stir-fry. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. When I told them the all-in(变态辣) stir-fry isn't spicy enough for me, they remembered me the next time I came in and ordered it and they made it extra extra spicy for me. Love this place so much that I have been 3 times in 2 weeks.
